Published in 2012 by Joel Dicker, The Truth About the Harry Quebert affair tells the story of Harry Quebert (Dempsey), a literary icon who suddenly finds himself indicted in the cold-case murder of a girl who has been missing for many years.
The bestselling novel has sold more than three million copies, won a Prix Goncourt des Lycéens and a Grand Prix du Roman de l’Académie française.
A legendary director and the great return of Patrick Dempsey
The series is directed by the legendary Jean-Jacques Annaud, who won three Césars and an Oscar for his cinematographic works.
The Truth about the Harry Quebert affair will mark Patrick Dempsey's return to television, known as McDreamy in Grey's Anatomy. He will be join by Ben Schnetzer (Snowden, Pride) and Kristine Froseth.
The 10-part TV series from MGM Television, Eagle Pictures and Barbary Films is produced by Tarak Ben Ammar, Annaud, Fabio Conversi, Lynne Greene, Richard Levine and Dempsey and will premiere next year in the US on EPIX ® and in France on TF1.

CANNESERIES, Cannes International Series Festival, will unfold its first edition from 4 to 11 April, 2018 at the Palais des Festivals. This event aims to highlight series from all over the world and to give an international voice to this increasingly popular and fiercely creative art form.
